SIGNATURE OF DOCUMENTS
Despite the increasing popularity of electronic signatures, certain documents still require signatures in the old-fashioned way (ie by wet ink) to ensure their compliance with the relevant statutory law.
These are:
1. Agreements for the disposal of land (The Alienation of Land Act, 1981)
2. Wills (The Wills Act, 1953)
3. Cheques(!), promissory notes and bills of exchange(The Bills of Exchange Act,1964)
